In the coming time, the road product loading station at the Dung Quat Refinery will be upgraded and expanded, increasing the loading capacity by adding two more stations (from four to six loading stations) to facilitate the sale of diesel oil (DO) and Jet-A1 aviation fuel.

OnFebruary 6, Binh Son Refining and Petrochemical Joint Stock Company (BSR) collaborated with the contractor consortium to hold a signing ceremony for the EPC contract to upgrade and expand the existing loading station for DO and Jet-A1 products at the Dung Quat Refinery.

Thesigning ceremony was attended by Mr. Bui Ngoc Duong - Chairman of the BSR Board of Directors; Mr. Nguyen Viet Thang - General Director of BSR; along with membersof the Board of Directors, the Executive Board, the Supervisory Board, the Management Board of the refinery, leaders of specialized departments, and project team members.

From the Petroleum Maintenance and Repair Corporation (PVMR), the ceremony was attended by Mr. Nguyen Trung Tri, Chairman of the Board; Ms. Do Thi Bich Hong, Deputy General Director of PVMR and Chairwoman of the Board of PMS (a subsidiary of PVMR); and Mr. Do Manh Hung, General Director of PMS.

Representing the invited guests, Mr. Tran Ho Bac, General Director of Vietnam Petroleum Technical Services Corporation (PTSC), also attended, along with PTSC executives.

Currently, the road product loading station at Dung Quat Refinery (P3) operates four truck-loading stations. Once the upgrade and expansion project is completed, the maximum number of trucks that can be loaded simultaneously will increase from four to six. This will significantly boost the volume of DO and Jet-A1 products transported via road, meeting the rising demand from customers.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Viet Thang, General Director of BSR, emphasized that the project reaffirms BSR's commitment to continuously improving its product distribution capacity to meet the growing market demand. The project's completion will enhance the volume of products transported via road, addressing the increasing regional demand. This initiative is also part of BSR's strategic investment breakthroughs, aimed at creating new growth drivers and achieving double-digit growth in the coming years.

The project to upgrade and expand the existing loading station for DO and Jet-A1 products at the Dung Quat Refinery has a total investment of over 25.8 billion VND, implemented by a contractor consortium including PMS, Hoang Ha Construction Trading Production Co., Ltd., Phu Nghia Trading and Construction Co., Ltd., and Song Hong Construction Consulting and Technology Transfer Joint Stock Company.

Speaking on behalf of the contractor consortium at the signing ceremony, Mr. Do Manh Hung emphasized that the contractor consortium is committed to strictly adhering to regulations on security, safety, fire prevention, and environmental safety to complete the project on schedule.

Earlier, BSR had also held the groundbreaking ceremony for the EPC construction package for an additional crude oil storage tank at Dung Quat Refinery. The implementation of these two key projects at the very start of the new working year reflects BSR’s strong determination to achieve its 2025 production and business objectives.
