PV Drilling officially receives ownership of the jack-up rig PV DRILLING IX
The event was attended by leaders of PV Drilling, representatives from Noble Highlander UK Ltd, along with a team of experts and Mizuho Bank.

PV DRILLING IX’s design is Friede Goldman 2000E, one of the popular and widely used designs in offshore, which requires the high safety and technical standards, such as the North Sea, Middle East, and Southeast Asia. The Rig was equipped the highly automated integrated NOV BLM jacking system with the capable of maximum drilling depth up to 30,000 feet (equivalent to 9,144 m) and operating in water depths up to 425 feet (equivalent to 129.5 m). PV Drilling IX (formerly Noble Highlander) is considered a superior technology Rig for deploying long-term drilling campaigns in offshore with complex geological structures and high technical requirements.
Immediately after taking ownership and completing the handover process, PV Drilling will proceed with reactivating the rig in Denmark within 01 month. After that, the Rig shall be mobilized from Denmark to PTSC Downstream Port (Ho Chi Minh City) within 50 - 60 days. The rig is scheduled to be put into operation for the first client at the end of March 2026 or begin of April 2026.

This event is a significant milestone of the sixth jack-up rig and one Tender Assist Drilling Rig owned by PV Drilling, increasing the competitiveness of Vietnamese Drilling Contractor in the international market as well as strong commitments to shareholders and investors with aiming to sustainable development.
