PVD Training hosts OPITO Asia Pacific Centre Forum 2026 in Vietnam

This year, PVD Training & Industrial Solutions J.S.C (PVD Training) was honored to be selected by OPITO as the Local Host for the forum in Vietnam.

In his opening remarks, Mr. Luong Thanh Tinh – Director of PVD Training – stated that this event marks an important milestone and reflects OPITO’s recognition of PVD Training’s continuous development and commitment to maintaining international training standards. He also shared that PVD Training is proud to be the first organization in Vietnam to join the OPITO system in 2011 and is currently the training center with the largest number of OPITO-approved courses in Vietnam, with more than 30 certified training programs.

Speaking at the forum, Mr. Dinh Quang Nhut – PV Drilling’s Vice President – emphasized that in the energy industry, safety and competence are not optional, but fundamental requirements. As stated, OPITO has played a vital role in establishing global standards to ensure workforce competence, operational integrity, and continuous improvement across the energy sector.

He also affirmed that PV Drilling will continue supporting PVD Training’s development toward becoming a trusted partner in training, workforce development, manpower supply, and industrial technical services for both domestic and international markets.

The OPITO Asia Pacific Centre Forum 2026 provided an opportunity for training centers across Asia – Pacific to strengthen connections, exchange experiences, and update international safety standards.
