Mr. Cao Tuan Si also expressed appreciation for Grace’s important role in BSR’s development journey. He emphasized that after 10 years of cooperation, the relationship between the two sides has evolved beyond a supplier-customer relationship into a comprehensive partnership in technology and technical support, delivering practical operational benefits: “The effective cooperation with Grace has played an important role in helping BSR maintain the stable operation of the Polypropylene unit while expanding the product portfolio and enhancing the Refinery’s competitiveness in the market.”
Throughout BSR’s development journey, the Polypropylene (PP) unit has played a key role in increasing product value and meeting market demand. The strong partnership with Grace has become one of the critical factors enabling BSR to maintain stable and efficient operations while gradually improving its competitive capabilities.
Over the past decade, the application of PP Lynx 1010 catalyst has brought significant benefits to BSR’s PP unit. The catalyst has helped optimize continuous operating cycles of up to 3-4 years, aligning with the Refinery’s overall turnaround maintenance schedule, thereby minimizing costs and improving production efficiency.
Beyond operational stability, Grace’s support has also enabled BSR to successfully research and develop several new product lines. In particular, in 2022, BSR launched its BOPP product to the market, marking an important milestone in the strategy to diversify Polypropylene products and better meet growing customer demand.
During the meeting, BSR and Grace reviewed their 10-year partnership and discussed future development orientations. The discussions also focused on technical support solutions for LYNX 1010 catalyst to further optimize operations; proposals for testing the next-generation HYAMPP II catalyst; and orientations for researching and developing new high value-added Polypropylene products.
Mr. Le Hai Tuan emphasized that, amid increasingly competitive market conditions, cooperation with reputable technology partners such as Grace will continue to serve as a foundation for BSR to optimize operations and develop high value-added products.
